A very enjoyable Day

Day starts early again with hubby working in Chertsy and I think the rest of the week will be early starts too!! I'm thinking about buying him a bike for Xmas LOL!!

Came back sat down and drank my tea and then finished the ironing so I cloud have a clear room to do the bridesmaid alteration. I finished the alteration by 10am and all went very well no problems I had to shorten the straps and the length.

Bex got up about 10 and played on the Wii for a while. I made a start on finishing the Babe doll I started a couple of weeks ago and hoping to have it finished by September, I attached the hair and threaded all the loose ends and cut off the surplus. While tidying up I came across a babe doll that I started knitting when I first got the book so I'm hoping to finish that one too for Mills. I also came across the quilt that I MUST finish before Christmas I'm busy looking for beads or buttons to embellish it with. ( Mills Quilt.....I just noticed while looking at an old blog that I used to do this was a challenged to be completed by Xmas 2007- well I obviously failed miserably there!! that was dated 28th July 2007, although a lot has happened since then!!!, so it SHALL be finished by Xmas 2008 and I think Mills may celebrate! and I wouldn,t blame her)

Had great fun on the Wii playing a new game that hubby brought in Norwich as the girls wanted an accessories pack and as it was two for £30 we suggested getting a game I enjoyed the most was A Day at the Races, such good fun, I recommend this game very much so much variety and such good fun especially as a family.

Kathryn turned up at 11am as booked for dress alterations. She brought me three dresses to alter two to be tapered on the sides and one to take up the shoulders. We had a lovely chat about Munich and the girls and education. She has three boys herself all grown up well her eldest will br going to 6th form.

The day was also spent trying to get this blog up to date with all the holidays too! But |I am also enjoying the last week with the girls before they go back to school.
