Knitting

Mills legs warmers that she asked for 12 weeks ago are finally on there way to been finished. Not bad really as I've only just learnt to knit. I went on an Introduction to Knitting Course not that the course was that brilliant in fact a total waste of time really but it gave me the determination to get along with the needles as my mum then went through the techniques with me and now I think I've finally mastered the art of knitting well basic items any way but at least its a start.

While in town I went to Wilco only to get 6 balls of fluffly yarn ( to knit Popcorn teddies) but ended coming out with another 42 as they were such a bargain 3 balls for £1.00 so I spent 16.99 but saved 31.79 What a saving.

Hubby then treated us to Mac'Donalds so on the way back I popped off again to pick up some more spending another £6.00. Oh No I'm now not only addicted with fabric but now wool Oh dear where am I going to store this???? I'm certainly going to be busy over the next few months but with hubby working longer hours I will have a little more time on my hands. The only problem went he rings for pick he may hear a few times sorry love just have to finish this row and if knitting on circular needles he may be waiting a while!!!!

Latest books

I'm so happy, the postman arrived with two parcels for me today. I am book mad often searching on Ebay and also Amazon sellers and buy the books these two I heard on a podcast and also they were bargains from Amazon sellers.

This year with hubby starting a new job I will have lots more time so I will keep myself busy creating projects from different books as his days will now be 12 hour days with travel. I am also looking forward too creating lovely tasty meals from Jamie Oliver books, Sam Stern and James Martin as they are my favorite chefs and baking so he comes home and enjoys good food after his long day.

The girls did create some good photos and cute videos.

Our day begun at 9:00am with breakfast before opening our presents. The week before Christmas I make up stars with a name inside and Mills picks out the first star opens it and reads the name to open a pressie and thats how the pressie opening goes.... this year the opening went on until 3:30 with a couple of 15 minute breaks. It was really nice. Everyone so happy with there presents. Hubby spoilt everyone.
Everyone enjoyed the Wii especially the bowling. And the shuffle board. Mills enjoyed her nano just want she wanted along with a skeleton, coin sorting machine, books and Bex had U2 Ipod (she received this pressie early as it was want she really wanted back it April so we brought it while in San Francisco) She still had lots of nice surprises as well, stationary, hawkins bazaar items chatting teeth, mini painting set, book, web site, ski wear. Hubby really spoilt me this year with two gold rings and matching earrings to one ring absolutely beautiful and also I was so thrilled with a cute Radley bag and matching purse. I also had the Georgio teddy bear which I have been collecting from 1996, he is a really cute gorgeous bear this year but the hardest job is which one to retire as I don't have room for them all on show. Mills brought me a Radley Key Ring and matching travel pass holder, Bex brought brought me Deal or No Deal DS game. Hubby also brought me mood light candles and a really cute duck for the bath along with books , CDs, Books the best been To-Do-Lists as I'm always making lists, DS Games Oh he spoils me so much.
I brought Hubby the ipod touch, Tuckcann book , ipod clock radio. I knitted him a stocking ( so proud of it as it is my first completed knitted project!) and filled it with lots of little silly/ useful pressies- note books, bookmark, pens, toiletries...Bex bought her dad two books and Mills clothes
The girls also had joint pressies the Wii and Games, Shuffle board, Download Bop-it and other marble games.
The day was really nice and we all were so spoilt. We enjoyed playing games and watching TV in the evening. I enjoyed drinking toffee vodka which hubby treated me just before Christmas a stall was selling it down Bluewater.

Christmas Eve

We went to Bluewater as a family for shopping and cinema. The day always starts with a Starbucks coffee especially with hubby.. Any shopping trip is few shops then coffee... We had about an hour to waste before the cinema showing so window shopping it was. Apple store been the favorite ... well some thinking to over the next few hours. We all enjoyed St trinans great film but I thought it would be more funny but still very enjoyable. After the cinema we went for a bite to eat before going back to the Apple store hubby treated the family to an Imac.
So back home I did some web shopping for some posh knitting items as hubby was treating me. After an hour and four web site I had my lists done all left at the check out page for hubby to complete and he completed all orders for me. Oh I'm so lucky.
In the evening the girls had their Eve presents Pjs and dressing gowns and hubby had a Eve pressie for me too. It was gorgeous smelling Molton Brown evening face mist. Wow I'm spoilt!!
