Yet once again the cycle goes on with catching up with the washing and ironing 4 loads today - all completed. I even got round to washing the kitchen net,

Customer alteration trousers shortening and then carried on and finally got round to doing hubby's suit jacket and trousers. Sewn on Mills guides badge and beads on Bex belt.

The bathroom suite was delivered today nice and early too. The bath I have left stored in my hallway and sink, toilet taps etc are all stored at the bottom stair and Bex and me carried three boxes up to the lounge, hopefully by next Saturday my dear brother will have plumbed most of it in hopeful ALL but that may be a bit of wishful thinking.

Nipped out to Bluewater to get Krispy Creme doughnuts for tonight and Asda for milk and snacks as Bex decided to order in Pizza and have treats and snacks and watch a film Bee Movie for her birthday the other option was to go out for a meal. It was very nice we all enjoyed it.

I'm so tired now 11:00pm as I've been so busy this week and have archived a lot with home improvements and preparing the bathroom.

Just another day

Quite a lazy start to the day as hubby was working from home. The girls were going swimming with friends today so when I dropped them off I went shopping and also took hubby's specs to be fixed. The market has really gone to pot not much good now, it used to be a great market with tons of stalls but its halve in size now, the magazine stall isn't even as good as it used to be!!

Of course I cannot resist going into TK Maxx and this time I brought a yoga top and trousers.

Hubby's package arrives with the latest item he buys for home improvements ... A new radio and ipod unit for the lounge.

Dentist check up time arrives again.. Only a polish and clean for both of us the girls just a check up.

I did more work on scraping the bathroom ceiling after fish and chip dinner and I must say I think I've done a fabulous job. And of course the usual washing and ironing routine that never stops!!

The bathroom will be fully prepped tomorrow ready for my brother to start his plumbing and plastering hopefully on Sunday. The new suite is going to be deliverde tomorrow as well.

Decorating Mad

Today I started by emptying porch cupboard for a good spring clean and I wanted to paint it too. Its looks so much better and there was so much junk in there too!! Its amazing what stuff you keep and than it the end its just junk. And now when the meter person calls to call to read the meter at least they will now be able to read it easily and also I won't have to keep my fingers crossed either that when they open the cupboard a box didn't fall on them! Its a job that has been on my list for ages and now its DONE.

My next task while the paint was drying in the porch cupboard was the shoe cupboard as that was in a jumble too and needed a good clear out too! Its also looks so much better and there was a lot of junk in there too.

The girls stripped the bathroom wall for me, well I think Mills did most of the work as Bex was busy doing English homework. They both did an excellent job. Not much left to do as for prepping the bathroom. I stripped more of the paintwork and cleaned up.

At 5:30 I started preparing the dinner - Sam Stearn recipe - Chilli with tacos. Banana muffins with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal tonight all empty plates!!

Hubby called to be picked up from the station 6:30 as he was working in London today. After dinner we both spent time clearing the hallway and putting the tools and shoes back in the cupboards after sorting. I had already done my shoes and girls had did theirs but hubby needed to sort out which ones he was keeping etc... and the tools only he could sort out really but it was a good job done.

The girls are keen on getting two guinea pigs and did a 'presentation' after dinner as to how they were going to look after them and all the costings too!

A fantastic day with a tremendous amount achieved, hopefully tomorrow will be another productive day.

Fun day wii and Prom outfit

Had a fun day today on the wii balance board fitness game. Did a little bit of tidying up and two loads of washing and got it dry too!
Hubby was working in Chertsey today although we hardly see one another when he is working at home its nice to have company in the house and a little chat now and again especially at lunchtime!
When I picked him up we went for a Starbucks coffee at Bluewater and talked about the bathroom as the suite is been delivered next Friday and my brother I hope will be able to fit it in the weekend of June the 3rd although it may be a bit of wishful thinking but I do hope he will be able to manage to get it done over the weekend as storing it is going to be a bit of an eyesore and also the longer its stored the more risk of damage and I'm so looking forward to having my dream bathroom.
While in Bluewater shopping a John Lewis for a pattern for Mills prom dress. We chose a pattern and back home sorted out some fabric so Mills could chose the design for her prom dress. So on to the making of it next week as I want time to make it the perfect outfit for her so she feels extra special and like a princess for her special year 6 party prom night.

Hubby as working from home today so it was A very enjoyable day. I drove Mills to school then went to Dartford market but that was a waste of time as the Market has really gone down hill not many stalls now and even the magazine stall wasn't there and that all I go for really so I was very disappointed. Back home made more progress on dolls clothes and I am finally getting my |UFO's completed so hopefully by June twill be able to concentrate on different items to add to my shop to sell Hobby had hospital appointment today cis-o so I went with him and luckily we were out by 12:15 so we headed to Bluewater. Hubby was going to get some money out for Costa coffee and saw Nandos and offered me lunch so are had a lovely lunchtime, finished off with Millie's cookies and coffee.so the Friday Fairy came earlier, this week it was A fabulous-day today except the market was disappointing but the sewing is going really well but still tons of fabric that I need to clear with all other items (have in mind, just hopefully they will sell at Christmas time
My plants are looking really nice now and are filling the pots beautifully Gave the wii fit to the girls today which they have been waiting for and its really good fun so I know what I will be doing tomorrow. Well ....hubby says I should be enjoying my time at home!!!

Just another day

Weather sunny but not as warm as it has been. Hubby working in London today so a quiet day today.
I did two loads of washing and ironed that so nearly up to date once again ....quite boring part of life as its just continuous...the laundry never stops just as you're on top of it the basket's full yet again!!

Completed the three bridesmaid dresses that needed shortening and also mended Mills trousers that just lately she seems to be ripping but lucky I have been able too fix two.

Late afternoon I was trying to get to grips with my new notebook laptop, creating a notebook in onenote - research for my cottage business for new ideas and plans for new items to sell at Christmas.

Had a little go at the bathroom ceiling but really its a job for hubby I think as I don't seem to be getting that far not like with the tiles I have done a fabulous job there even though I say it myself I have got the walls really smooth as I've managed to clear most of the tile glue too!! So I think my brother will be pleased when he comes to plumb in my bathroom and do the plastering for us. I'm hoping to have my bathroom completed all finished my the end of June.

Shopping at Asda in the evening

Blogging/ learning

Day starts by taking hubby to the station as he is going to the Chersy office today, I forgot to make him a breakfast while he was washing but I did manage to put a quick breakfast together for him - banana, nutri cookie and kiwi and grape fruit salad. When I got back I started tidying the lounge before waking the girls. Had breakfast once I'd dropped Bex off at school, phone mum about Saturday did she want to come over or would she like to us to pop in - well Mils was laughing as I said well I don't mind and mum replied the same it just goes round in circles that way - then walked Mills into school.

Now my day begins so I'm starting with tiding my sewing room -ready for a customer tomorrow, 3 bridesmaids due at 10:00am. But first I will look for Onenote tutorials and bookmark them ready for this evening and over the weekend.

Sewing aways on dolls clothes and hubby rings 10:30 hows your day etc.... oh mum (my mother-in-law) phoned she would like to get Mills something around £35, she is driving me up the wall Firstly she always rings when I'm not around! and Secondly when I visit you can cut the atmosphere with a knife and I'm close to saying exactly how I feel and the way I was treated while hubby was in hospital so I think its best all round that I do NOT visit!! Sorry about that moan but its always good to get things out in the open and off my chest... Now I feel better .

So now I'm off to get stuck into housework throw all my energy into it and hopefully have a relaxing weekend. Well could not get into it as much as I wanted too so instead I sat at my laptop all day learning and hopefully will make the most of my new notebook and get to grips with it over the weekend.

Tonight I will be straightening Bex hair as she is camping and shopping for food for her. Drop Mills off at her club and then pick hubby up from the station then off to Bluewater to have a nice hour or so with hubby.

Picked up Mills from school and she was in a good mood especailly when I told her she had post she wrote off for 6 the Keeping up Appearances autographs. She has received three back so far. She found the SATS maths paper pips. (easy). Bex had a good day at school too. I straightened Bex hair before taking Mills to her club then went shopping with Bex to get her food for the weekend camp. Don't know what happened to our coin on the trolley though Bex asked did we put a coin in but when we looked there was no lock on the trolley???And we were with the trolley all the time so no one else could have walked off with our trolley!! So that brightened the day and laughter is always a good medicine!! Now off to Waitrose for dried cherries while there hubby rang due home at 6:45 and asked where I was i said in Waitrose so he asked if I could get him some beer. Just about to pay and my phone rand it was Mills I rang her back could I get some trousers down to her quick as the trousers =she had on had just ripped!! So off back home to get the trousers to her she very pleased to see me and thanked me very much. No point going back home as only 10 mins until hubby arrives so we Bex and I go to TK Maxx I brought two fossil belts 9.99 each and Bex chose some sunglasses 18.00 and she looks great in them too. Dropped Bex back home to had dinner and finish her packing while hubby and I enjoy an hour down Bluewater. We had a bargain at Burger King I had a voucher from the paper hubby brings home from the station buy one get one free whopper but we got an extra whopper and also extra fries for some reason but hubby enjoyed the extra whopper mind you he didn't have much for lunch as he was in a meeting when the buffet was served. Bought doughnuts for the girls from Krispy Creme. Then went stright to pick Mills up from her club and she was happy as she won the quiz.

A dull grey day

That was a short summer hopefully it will come back soon as the next few days are rainy and dull, just as I was getting my garden just perfect all ready to relax and enjoy the summer.

Sewing dolls clothes today still trying to catch up on all the back log of all my unfinished items so a few more have been sewn up, but still tons to clear. Hopefully they will all sell at Christmas time.

My birthday present arrived today a hp notebook- now I will have to try and get on with it, at the moment I can not see any more advantages of it over my laptop but I'm always the same with new technology.

Went swimming with Mills today we swam over 30 lengths and had a play around with aquacise fitness too!

What a Day!

The bathroom walls where I took the tiles off is finally all smooth it took me all morning.

Oh how embrassing I just joined in hubby's conference call as hubby shouted up the stairs phone as I went and picked up the extension and said hello all quiet so I said hello again then realized it was hubby's conference!!! so I quickly put the phone down what I'd forgot is when the landline is engaged the call gets transfered to my mobile and thats the phone that was ringing!!

Hubby and I then went down to Dartford as hubby needed to take his specs into Specsavers to have then repaired but he has to go back as they did not have the part but they did a temp fix. Hubby treated us to Subway two can dine fro £5.99 and we brought it back home as hubby had lots of work to do. I noticed my DREAM ring had split so I'm hoping to get that fixed on Saturday (more about this on my 360 blog).
Completed putting straps on a dress for a customer that called in yesterday and will be collecting tomorrow evening.

Back to sewing dolls clothes and also finished two bags oh how I love to be back crafting although I like decorating / painting my favorite pastime is creating! Prepping the bathroom has been hard work and is still not yet ready but most off the hard work is done although hubby has the ceiling to do so perhaps he might disagree with me here!

Easy dinner tonight sausage meatball tomato and sweetcorn

Just another day

Hubby was working in London today. After I dropped the girls off at school I went to Bexeyheath to amend my glasses order to have reactions lens instead of sunglasses as my second pair. That went fine no problems.

Went around the shops window shopping as my glasses upgrade just cost me £49.99. After window shopping went to get my freebie Dolce de Leche frappiciono then back to th car to come home to start prepping the bathroom even more and tidying my room were the two tasks for today.

The bathroom went fairly well the walls are starting to look good fairly smooth and the tidying my my room went well but I do need to get sewing to get rid of the mountain of fabric!!

Hubby was a lot later arriving home then I expected but he had a good day. It wouldn't have been so bad if I had known the approx time but I was expecting 6:15 and he didn't actually arrive until 6:40. It wouldn't have been that bad but the girls wanted to eat as a family but Mills had guides so we all had to eat quickly as I wanted to fit the shopping in too!

I could have treated myself in Bexleyheath as hubby said not to worry about transferring the glasses upgrade money. Even though I had a moan at him for arriving back later than I expected. Oh I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful hubby who adores me. But I hadn't been feeling well with pains in my tummy and also I was thinking about getting mills to guides and shopping and we had to eat dinner first as I had t all prepared.

A relaxing Day - Just as Sundays should be!!

Today was a lazy morning we didn't get up unitl 8:15 and the first thing on our list was a tip run to get rid of all the tiles I'd removed from the bathroom and also the old fence posts.

Our day continued with going to a boot fair to see mum and dad, the girls and hubby stopped with mum and dad as mum takes a picnic too! I went for a wander as I love seeing whats around and someone else's junk is another one treasure although I should never really be let loose really as I've no where to put any more 'junk' but my treasure. Well I didn't come back with much just eletric scissors, gem setter, magazine and book and hubby was with me when I brought the wool set. All I spent was £5.10. The scissors work too I tried them when I got home. Stopped off on the way back to pick up food for the BQ then home.

We had a barbecue today and Bex did the cooking she loves doing the barbecue. She did really well and enjoyed it too. We all enjoyed it , played table tennis afterwards and a cute little bird kept returning and eating from out lawn it was really nice to watch later he brought a friend with him. We set the outdoor table up and Bex and I had a good laugh trying to put the parasol up as I'm too short!! But Bex did it!!!

Later I put duck tape around the edge of the bath and hubby put a little sealant to try and help make it water tight while waiting for the new bathroom to be fixed it which is about the 3rd June. The tiles came off really easily but now at least it gives me time to try and get the walls as smooth as possible.

A lazy day but very enjoyable but I plan be to very busy next week.

Eye Eye Saturday

Lazy start to the day we didn't arrive at mum and dads until 10:00am. Mum and I walked up the high street to get a few bits and lottery. We left at 3:00 to go to Charlton Argos to pick up some waterproof trousers for Bex that she needs to have as part of her kit for next weeks over night camping as part of her Duke of Edinburgh course.

Before coming home we stop of at Bexleyheath to go to Specsavers for me to look at glasses again finally I decide and order them and have to collect them next week. Finished off shopping getting the mug, plate and cup in millets for bex. And of course the day can not be complete especially on as day out until hubby has his Costa coffee as it was hot I had a frappacito java chip and really enjoyed it. Before going back to the car we popped into Wilco to get a few essentials and cutlery for bex camping.

Watered the plants which now has become a daily chore but Mills does like to offer occasionally and will do that job for me. I'm looking forward to seeing them all blooming.
Oh I'm so looking forward to next Saturday to picking up my new glasses then I will have to get use to wearing them but hopefully I will not get so tired reading and sewing hopefully will become more enjoyable as it should ease the strain.

It was a lovely relaxing day. Put the rug rug down in my lounge and rolled up the old. Sorted the washing hopefully i will get it all washed tonight and pegged out before 9:00am tomorrow so next week I can craft and DIY.

Another productive day

Started my day again knocking more tiles off the bathroom getting it prepared for 3rd june when my brother is very kindly going to plumb in , plaster and install spot lights for us to make it our dream bathroom. Well the tiles came off pretty easily, I've just got the back wall to finish and not many tiles there just awkward really with the sink and toilet been in the way. Hubby will have to have a go at knocking the worse of the artext of the ceiling though but I can do most prep work and I enjoy it but ceiling work I hate.

As hubby was working from home today so I had to stop taking the tiles off as he had a conference call so I took a break and went in the garden to second coat the bridge and the mower shed. The bridge looks really nice now.

We then took a trip into town to go to the bank and also to look at some glasses for me as I had my eyes checked and the prescription was for some reading glasses. After looking in Specsvers and Boots I couldn't make up my mind so I'll think about it. We had a subway lunch then came home.

I then finished removing the tiles so all it leaves now is the back wall. Had a little time left before picking up Mills so I took my book down to the summer house and enjoyed the glorious summers day, hopefully this weather will last.

In the evening we went to Bluewater to look at glasses in Boots and Vision Express but once again I wasn't sure. I did nearly decide in Boots but then said I will think about it. And as usaul hubby likes his Costa coffee so we enjoyed that. Brought a few magazines then back home.

It was a good day fairly productive. And I've been really spoilt today as the Friday fairy brought me "Liquid - choc kisses" from hotel chocolat, treated to lunch at Subway and Costa coffee and biscuits in the evening and also darling hubby brought me an embroidery magazine. Oh I'm so lucky.

Just have to keep Busy

Hubby went into the office today. It was a glorious summers day today so feeling happy got a lot done...in the morning while waiting to take the girls to school I made a list on my laptop of all the jobs that needed doing as sometimes its the small jobs that get forgotten so with the list spare time and in the moments I'm not to sure what to do my list will hopefully guide me and by the end of the year our home will be fabulous especially if hubby decides to ahead and order the bedroom furniture!!!

Started work on the bathroom removing tiles which actually came away really easily and took the shelves down as they were stopping me progressing to the stage I wanted to and carried on removing the tiles by 10:30 work finished for the moment in the bathroom.

As it was such a beautiful day I thought i would do some work in the garden so i painted the bridge and mower shed and two new posts in the garden by 12:30 I had completed that task so I came in for some lunch a refreshing fruit salad.

I took the speakers down in the bedroom and filled all the holes ready for refreshing the paintwork. Not much time left before picking up Mills so I fixed the Buddha which my girls accidentally broke but they found the two pieces and brought it into me. Hopefully the fix will last.
Went swimming with Mills and afterwards went to B&Q to pick up some sealants, goggles and patio cleaner. Back home by 6:pm and started cooking dinner.

Washed up and cleaned the kitchen now just waiting for darling hubby to ring to pick him up. Had dinner with hubby and then watered the garden pots the flowers are coming along nicely.

So it was a good productive day today.

A wonderful day

It was another beautiful bright sunny day and hubby was working from home today, its nice to have company throughout the day especially for coffee breaks and lunch.

I started the day by ironing and finished all taht ready for task next load at the weekend!

As it was so nice I thought I'd enjoy the garden, so I took myself to my summer house and finished sewing all the badges on Mills new Guide top. I then started making up dolly head dresses as I want to offer bridesmaids outfits on my web shop and I love making them up too its just so enjoyable and makes a change from sewing or knitting.

I the afternoon I took my laptop down the summer house and started thinking of new ideas and plans to expand the items I offer on my web shop. I made a long list of things and now just have to produce them and I'm really looking forward to making up the items and adding a new selection to my web shop which hubby has designed and enjoys taking part in my cottage business as he calls it. Bex designed the title on my web site which hubby gave her a a challenge to do.

A really enjoyable day and I do like been busy I hate days that are not productive. Although it is nice to have relaxing days but still I just think if I can not write about the things I have done throughout the day it has been a wasted day.

Eye, Eye

Today I caught up on all my washing. as it was a glorious summers day.

The morning I spent in my summer house sewing mills badges on her new guide top.

Eye test at D&A - reading glasses. I haven't had an eye test for the last 10 years so I thought since I had a voucher for a free eye test it would be a good time to go. The prescription was for reading glasses but I'm not sure if I will get a pair.

Mills quilt - coming along a few more rows of stitches done so nearly ready to start quilting.

Hubby working in Chertsy arrives back home at 7:25.

My programmes I watched today was Blood Sweat and t-shirts, and How to look good naked.

Glorious summer day in Garden

Today started with a trip to Homebase to get some compost for my pots and hanging baskets.
B&Q to finish my plant shopping and the Bathstore to check some details. And of coures we can not go back home without stopping for coffee at Costa its one of hubby's must do when out shopping even if we are going straight back home!

Its a beautiful summers day so nice be to working in the garden altough I am looking forward to sitting and enjoying all our hard work. After a long days work all the plants are potted, hanging baskets hanging and all the photos taken ready for the blog. I look forward to taking photos again when they are in full bloom!! Hopefully I won't kill them off in the meantime. I am NO gardener.

Still a fair number of other jobs to be done in the garden like painting, weeding, cleaning the work never stops really. Always something or other to do.

In the evening washing, shortened hubby's trousers ready for his first day back after his illness. He has made excellent progress far quicker then expected which is brilliant for us all. Its nice to have him back to his old self.
